Divestitures
§ Created and implemented
Sourcing process for handling third party software licenses in a
divestiture, which resulted in a 6 month decrease in the license transfer
process.
§ Obtain spend report data for
divested target and, using percentage of company spend, determine what
technology contracts can be transferred to the divested target.
Analyze supplier contracts and follow terms for assignment as required,
resulting in savings to company by not paying maintenance on products we
would no longer own.
§ Receive software inventory
from divested target and match against target’s purchase entitlements to
ensure compliancy. Meet with target to reconcile any discrepancies
(consult with Finance leadership as needed) and determine strategy for
transferring software licenses.
§ Work directly with suppliers
to fulfill each required software license/maintenance transfer as directed
by their individual process or contracted terms. Communicate to Asset
Management any transfers, resulting in overall savings due to a license
count reduction.
§ Maintain detailed notes on
status of license transfers, including dates, actionable items, etc.
§ Meet regularly with global
workstream leads to update status on transfers and discuss any issues to
completing the divestiture process.
§ In 2013, trained new
colleague in India on divestiture process so they could take over the
license administration piece. Hold weekly meetings to receive status
updates and advise on any questions.
Acquisitions
§ Obtain spend report data
from acquired target, analyze, and determine how much belongs to
technology.
§ Receive contracts from
acquired target and identify technology contracts. Review and analyze
contracts for key terms, including conditions for termination and
assignment.
§ Acquire software inventory
and purchase entitlements from acquired target and identify any gaps.
Work with Purchasing to determine quotes for any software not covered in
the entitlements and have quote added to overall target purchase price.
§ Meet with acquired target to
develop strategy and priorities for contract integration.
§ Act as liaison between
acquired target, Sourcing contracts team, and Vendor Management team to
facilitate successful contract integration.
§ Report as needed, to global
workstream leads on contract integration status.
§ Maintain detailed notes on
status of contract integration, including dates, actionable items, etc.
Senior
Administrative Assistant, Technology Sourcing-Vendor Management
§ Under direction of Vendor
Management Team Lead, pursue software license transfers from Thomson
Reuters to divested companies
§ Microsoft Volume Licensing
Agreement Site Adminstrator – responsible for global management of MSDN
subscription, Team Foundation Server, and Teamprise licenses.
Developed annual auditing of licensed users to reduce true up number and
drive down costs.
§ Use SAP software to process
goods received for standard and service purchase orders
§ Manage vendor review process
including distribution and analysis of internal vendor performance surveys,
compile survey information and create documented vendor reviews
§ Develop documented playbook
for the vendor review process and the management of Microosft MSDN, TFS,
and Teamprise licenses. Trained Software Asset Management group on
license management process.
§ Report to Contracts Team
Lead on a weekly basis with Contracts team’s project status, and provide
monthly report on contracts completed

departmental travel arrangements, including expense tracking and
reconciliation

equipment and initiate refresh of old systems
